Production and consumption rarely line up. Solar output peaks at midday, while member loads follow shifts, processes and seasons. EcoGrid™ calculates shared energy for every hour, the same way the incentive is calculated, so the community sees which hours it shares in full and which hours it exports energy no member uses.
